Katey Augsburger is a young upcoming horsewoman specializing in dressage and young dressage prospects.

Katey grew up riding horses through the hills and on the beaches of the Central Coast. As Ellen's right hand rider for the past seven years, Katey is known most for her big smile while riding. Ellen has said that Katey has terrific insight and intuition with horses and has excelled at combining dressage with horsemanship principles.

In addition to working for and with Ellen, Katey has spent time with the extraordinary horseman, David Hillman, with several young horses. Katey's strength is acceptance and tolerance with young horses which allows her to put the horses first, always giving them a positive experience, always allowing them to learn thoroughly and not be afraid. Katey has also been quite successful giving youngsters their first show experience.
